At Zero Yoga Classes and Description

Hot 26 & 2 (60, 75, and 90)
Often referred to as Original Hot Yoga, this class, developed in the Ghosh lineage in Kolkata (Calcutta) is a 90 minute class. There are 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises in this practice. All postures are done twice in the 90 minute and variations of sets in the 75 minute and 60 minute which move a bit quicker.
The benefits come from creating pressure and exertion and after each posture there is deep relaxation to integrate the benefits of the pose.
Proper alignment is what is focused on and not on the depth of each posture. This is why it is accessible to all levels and makes it challenging every time you step on your mat. This practice is therapeutic and supports stillness in body and mind. Plan to sweat and purify and detoxify your body.

Hot 26 & 2 Plus and Play
Hot 26 Plus is a unique yoga class created around the traditional Hot 26 Series. This class allows practitioners to grow and evolve their practice at their own pace.
Class is set to music and in the 2nd set the instructor offers students a chance to try variations of poses in the second set. The class is for ALL LEVELS!
Students of all levels love this class because it allows you to move from intuition and supports you to get connected to your breath. Your brain will also enjoy the stretch of trying something new each and every time you step on your mat. You still have the structure of the first set being what you know- and the second set where you get to PLAY. Who couldn’t use some more playtime in their life? The music adds a fun ambiance and the poses change from practice to practice so our body loves it too!

Kundalini yoga and meditation
This yoga technology combines breath, mudra, eye-focus, mantra, body locks, and postures to balance the glandular system, strengthen the nervous system, expand lung capacity, and purify the blood. It can bring balance to the body, mind, and soul. Kundalini yoga is a form of yoga that involves chanting, singing, breathing exercises, and repetitive poses.
As Kundalini yoga awakens energy in your body , it has the ability to create increased awareness and help you move past your limited mind, thoughts, and old patterns, so you can feel more grounded and connected to you and your inner guidance system. Sometimes, the practice is also called “yoga of awareness.”

The Core 40
The Core 40 system includes all of the 26 asanas and two breathing exercises found in the Hot 26 and 2 (Bikram beginner’s series) but they are practiced in a different order. There are 14 additional Ghosh postures as well as variations and preparation practices for these postures and two additional breathing exercises. This is an ALL levels class which doesn’t mean it’s easy- it means that you can come to your mat and practice with intensity, precision and consistency. You will find different feelings in your body and have a lot of fun being challenged.

Yoga Sculpt
Yoga Sculpt is a unique combination of power yoga and strength training designed to create a full-body workout. Combining fun flowing movements and traditional yoga poses along with strength training and resistance band work. This interval training workout will leave you feeling alive, strong, and uplifted.

Hot 26 + Flow and Beats
This fun class starts out with a salutation to the universe and a unique sun salute. This beginning creates a lot of heat so the room is heated to 95 degrees vs. the 105. This is followed by the 26 postures with variations and additional poses from the Ghosh and Ashtanga lineages. A diverse class that is sure to leave you feeling sweaty, inspired and ready to take on your life in alignment, confidence and joy. Be ready to go on a journey to the greatest version of you- as you surrender to the practice and open your heart, you will find freedom in your mind and body.

Hot Yin Yoga
Hot Yin yoga is meditative and creates a feeling of openness and expansion. In Hot Yin yoga, the asanas (poses or postures) are held for at least three minutes allowing the body to relax and create breakthroughs in the body and mind. Creates healthy fascia and balance. The room temperature is set at 95 degrees Fahrenheit, which is somewhat cooler than the temperatures in a Hot yoga class.

Sound healing
The sound of healing instruments like gongs and crystal singing bowls allow for deep relaxation of both sides of the brain and create an inner harmony in the body, mind, and soul. It stimulates stress relief on all levels and the elimination of toxins from the body.

Hot Organic Flow
This is a ONE HOUR power yoga sequence. It is a breath focused type of flow yoga using breath to move from one pose to the next in a fun sequence designed to bring strength to your mind, body, and soul. Prepare to leave feeling inspired and complete working the whole body. This is an excellent practice along side the 26 and 2. Give it a whirl!
